Design

Our customers engage our engineers during the various stages of the design process. Sometimes the customer only has a rough sketch of a new process or product. As a rule, however, there is a defined design issue. Together with the customer, we can define the design assignment, determine the (process) requirements and subsequently create a design plan. To that end, we use a Process Flow Diagram (PFD) or Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID). It goes without saying that we seek innovative solutions and perform the corresponding process calculations.

After the draft has been discussed with the customer, we add more detail to the design in phases to come to a final design (e.g. Basis of Design (BOD), Basic Detailed Engineering Package (BDEP). During the detail engineering phase, our engineers determine and calculate the required parts on the basis of the applicable guidelines. The design is also translated into a 3D model. This allows you to see the design from a spatial perspective. In this way, errors can be detected at an early stage. The required 2D drawings (production drawings, isometrics, etc.) for manufacturing are also generated from the 3D model.

In the end, a complete package of documentation is delivered, including all the required deliverables to take the project to the execution phase (EPC).
